Plant Design

The whole class worked together to create its own "Audrey 11 plant". This was very challenging as we had to make sure the puppet was suitable for stage and looked exactly like the plant itself. Each member of the class had different roles of the plant. My role was to make sure that all the leaves where perfect. This meant that I had to mix all the paints, make leaves, and also paint them. Other people in the class where also part of this and others had to create the actual "Audrey 11 plant" itself. What they had to do was work out the measurements. We had to get the tallest person of the class to lie down on the table and then take the measurements. This is because the plant had to be a certain size for someone to fit inside it and take controll of the puppet. We had to make sure that the plant looked like the images that I had researched before hand. This would make it look more appealing to the crowd as the audience will feel involved and as if it is actually real. This is how the plant turned out after everyone finished designing it...
